First time to Mdm Kwan at Genting Highlands. The food and service was fabulous. The staff Sam is very attentive around the customers' tables and orders, he did a good job.

The meal overall was average. For the fish noodle soup, the soup was flavourful, but the portion of mee felt a little small for the price. The petai fried rice still had good flavour, though the rice was slightly too oily.

This was my first time dining at Madam Kwan's, and overall, the experience was pleasant. The restaurant's environment is comfortable, the service runs smoothly, and even the foreign staff communicate well in both Malay and English.

Walked in without reservation and was seated immediately. This is our second Madam Kwan's experience so was keen to try their chicken satay skewers again. It did not disappoint. My favourite satay I've had in Malaysia. The fried rice was also great.

Late dinner here, really enjoyed the chicken satay and the rich, flavourful gravy. Should have gone for the mixed satay! However, the service could be more efficient. Despite having many staff and only a few tables occupied, simple requests took a while.

Had a quick lunch here. The food wasn't very good. Edible but not exceptional. The nasi lemak wasn't lemak at all. The rice lacks coconut flavour or pandan smell. The sambal was at best red, not enough flavour, not enough onions.

This visit, the curry mee and char kway teow had no taste, very flat, and the ingredients including prawns were not fresh, unlike previous visits. Will think twice before patronising again.

This will be my last time eating here. Ordered their char kway teow. The food came with no spiciness, no wok hei, not much taste. Sotong was huge and tough to bite. Ordered their white coffee and the sweetness was over the top. Spent RM155 for such food quality, which was ridiculous. Food quality has dropped so much since my last visit.

Bikash is a very nice and professional guy. He served us in such a way that we felt at home. He was able to explain the food in detail as well as asking our taste preferences in order to serve us well. Thank you so much for your kind attitude, we will surely come back again.

I would say it's just average. The food is on the salty side. Expect a wait after you have placed your order, so if you are in a rush, give this place a miss. Plain water in a glass is complimentary. Portion of food is reasonable but not so for kids' meals.
