Halloween on this hill usually means the indoor haunted houses at Skytropolis. On 31 October 2026 the other night sits lower down. Under the Stars Meowloween takes the Great Lawn at Resorts World Awana, 云顶世界阿娃娜, from 5pm. Entry is free. You can bring a cat onto the grass. You cannot take it upstairs.
UtusanTV called it Meowloween kembali on 22 September. Sinar Harian ran the same RWG note a week earlier. The official page is still live: 31.10.2026, Great Lawn, free. This is not Pavilion Hall, not First World Plaza, and not the SkyWorlds overlay. Park at Genting Highlands Premium Outlets or Sky Sentral and you are already on the Awana band of the mountain.
What the night actually does
Registration opens at 5pm. Picnic packs are collected then. From 5.30pm the lawn games, bubble station, and food stalls open. A two-piece band plays at 6.30pm and again at 9pm. The newspaper photobooth is listed at 7pm. The catwalk and fashion show is at 8.30pm. Last block of games is 9.30pm. RWG wants cat-themed dress, family-safe costumes, and children with an adult the whole time.
Cats stay in a carrier, stroller, harness, or on a leash. You clean up after them. The hotel is blunt on the stay. Pets are strictly not allowed in guest rooms. If you are overnighting, the cat goes home. Do not argue it at the front desk.
RM40 on a mat, RM78 at The Lodge
Food is on-site only. Picnic sets are not sold online. Grab & Go is RM40. You get mat seating and one main: egg sandwich, two pieces of fried chicken, or mamak-style fried noodles, plus a watermelon cup, iced lemon tea, and coffee or tea. On the room package that food window is 5.30pm to 10pm.
Lodge BBQ is RM78, 6pm to 10pm at The Lodge. The event page puts lamb shoulder, BBQ chicken thigh, roasted beef striploin, nasi goreng Awana style, and live Penang char kuey teow on the line. UtusanTV and Sinar Harian, quoting RWG, say Under the Stars Lodge BBQ then repeats on the last Saturday of each month from this night. The event page prices the 31 October sitting at RM78 and does not show a child ticket. Add-ons on the same page: face painting RM15 small or RM30 large, plaster painting RM20, wool felting RM40, coin bank painting RM40. A newspaper photobooth sits in that paid block at RM10 for two prints.
Starlight Staycation, one night only
Booking runs 18 September to 30 October 2026. The stay date is 31 October only. Superior Deluxe with Grab & Go is RM390 for two people, or RM480 with the BBQ. Villa with Grab & Go is RM900 for four, or RM920 with the BBQ. Front office issues the entitlements at check-in. Cancel or skip the meal and there is no refund. Rooms depend on what is left by the 30th.
Mid-hill, the night after 清水岩
The haunted houses at Pavilion Hall, Skytropolis, now run 15 October to 20 November 2026. RWG closed them on 19 and 20 October for a private event and reopens on 21 October. That is the peak. Meowloween is the lawn beside the golf course and Awana Village, the glass-roof block where The Lodge sits. Chin Swee Caves Temple, 清水岩庙, holds its 50th anniversary Dharma Assembly from 22 to 30 October. Meowloween is the next night. You can do the temple on Friday and the lawn on Saturday. They are not one ticket.
Awana SkyWay listed maintenance for 12 to 16 October 2026. The picnic is two weeks later. Check the travel advisory before you count on the gondola for the 31st. Driving to Awana or parking at GPO still gets you onto the lawn if the cable car is down.
