A 25 percent early-bird cut on VIP to PS3 was still listed on the official page, first come, while that allocation lasts.
Why this booking is not just another 6pm slot
Bee fronted The Wynners from 1973. The official RWG copy lists more than 40 albums in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, and two Golden Needle Awards, 1988 and 2016. The songs the page bothers to name are the ones the hall will actually wait for: "Rang Yi Qie Sui Feng", "Yao Shi You Yuan", "Zhi Yao Ni Guo De Bi Wo Hao", "Man Man Ren Sheng Lu". He is 70-plus and still touring under a slow-down slogan, which is either honest or marketing. Either way the Genting crowd for this generation of Cantopop is older, seated, and on time. The hall starts at 6pm sharp. Late arrival can mean waiting for a break.
Child tickets: under 95cm can use a RM50 child ticket without a seat. Taller than 95cm pays the published category. Every person needs a ticket. Infants are not permitted, which contradicts the usual Genting "even babies pay" line by simply banning them. Read the event T&Cs on the booking page before you drag a stroller up the hill.
The rest of September at the same hall
Arena of Stars is stacked before and after Bee. Gean Lim and Danny Lim play 1 September. ADO and ANIU share 5 September under "Nanyang Twin Voices". Daniel Lo is listed for 15 and 16 September on the regional calendars. The 21st Malaysia National Lion Dance Championship takes the hall on 26 September (semi-final) and 27 September (final), which is the same weekend Sunset by NEON Chapter 2 runs an 18-plus outdoor rave in Genting Highlands. Those two events do not share a room, but they will share the mountain, the cable car, and the traffic.
Sunset by NEON is 26 and 27 September, gates about 4pm to 5pm, music from 6pm to midnight, two-day GA early bird listed around RM328 after the RM288 trust tickets sold out. Line-up names already out: Agents of Time, Yotto, Rivo, SLVR. If that is your weekend, do not also assume you can sit a lion-dance final. Pick one.
Getting in and sitting down
Book at book.rwgenting.com. Genting Rewards members often stack a separate member rate on other shows. This page's headline discount is the 25 percent early bird, not a Rewards-only code. Collection rules are strict on third-party pickup: authorisation letter, photocopy of the paying card, and the cardholder's MyKad or passport. Tickets from unofficial resale can be cancelled.
No cameras, no tablets, no video. Eat before 6pm. First World and SkyAvenue restaurants fill on concert Saturdays. Awana and the lower hill are a buffer if you have a car. The KL-Karak advisory on the RWG site is not decoration. Leave Kuala Lumpur earlier than you think.
