Hokkien Queen 2.0 Live Concert at Arena of Stars: Three Malaysian Voices, One Hokkien Night
Hokkien Queen 2.0, the follow-up to the Hokkien-language concert series that proved surprisingly popular in its first run, returns to Arena of Stars on Tuesday, 4 August 2026 at 6pm. She is fluent in Mandarin, English, Japanese and Malay, and can also perform in Cantonese, Hokkien and Hakka, which gives her a versatility that few Malaysian singers can match. Her performances combine explosive energy with professionalism.
Catherine Soon is the veteran of the trio, with over 20 years of stage experience and hundreds of championship titles to her name. She has represented Malaysia overseas and handles classic oldies, pop songs, upbeat tracks, ballads, folk music and multiple languages with stable vocal skills and strong stage charisma. Her presence gives the concert a grounding that the younger singers can lean on.
