Football Fever 2026 Final Kick-Off Party at Genting: Ms PuiYi, RM25,000 Draw and a Midnight Match
Resorts World Genting is throwing what it calls the biggest live viewing party in Malaysia for the 2026 World Cup final, and the whole thing runs from midnight to 5am on Monday, 20 July 2026. The venue is Level 1 of SkyAvenue, in the open space next to Swensen's, and entry is free for Genting Rewards members. If you are not a member yet, you can sign up on the spot at no cost. The headline act is Ms PuiYi, the Malaysian social media personality turned DJ, who counts over 23.4 million Instagram followers and has shared festival stages with Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki. She headlines a live DJ set supported by a rotating roster of guest DJs, and the music runs well before kick-off and carries through the final whistle.
How the lucky draw works
The draw is the reason most people show up early. Spend a minimum of RM50 at any of the designated kiosks on the night and you earn one entry into the lucky draw. The more you spend, the more entries you collect, and the prize pool is valued at over RM25,000. Here is what is on the table:

Registration opens on the night itself. Collect your wristband early because seating is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 200 wristband holders also walk away with an exclusive gift, which RWG has not publicly named. Between the DJ sets and the match, the organisers are running mini games and football trivia with smaller giveaways to keep the crowd warm.
Where else to catch the matches at Genting
If you cannot make the final party, or you prefer a quieter screen, RWG has set up live viewing across six venues running throughout the tournament. The Kickoff Zone beside the Genting Highlands Station on Level 4 of SkyAvenue runs until 18 July 2026 and acts as the fan hub for the earlier knockout rounds.
For the final itself, the other screens are Park Avenue Lounge on Level M of SkyAvenue, High Line Roof Top Market on Level 4, Lake of Dreams along Gohtong Way, and Ayu Awana down at Resorts World Awana. Two more venues, Bar 360 by Genting Club and Hangout, both on Level 3 of Genting Grand, are restricted to guests aged 21 and above and non-Muslims. Not every match is shown at every venue, so check the official timetable before you commit to a spot.
Is it worth the drive up?
If you already follow the World Cup, watching the final at 6,000 feet above sea level with a live DJ and a real prize draw is a noticeably better experience than a sports bar in the city. The catch is the timing. The party starts at midnight and runs to 5am, which means you either drive down tired or book a room. RWG is banking on the latter, and the Executive Suite stays in the prize pool suggest they want people to treat this as an overnight trip.
